Origin:
Introduced in Italy by Walter Branchi in 1996 as 'Five Yuan'.
Class:
China / Bengale.  
Bloom:
Carmine-pink, ages to darker .  10 to 12 petals.  Small to medium, semi-double (9-16 petals) bloom form.  Continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.  
Habit:
Tall, climbing, thornless (or almost).  Light green, dense foliage.  
Height of 47" (120 cm).  Width of 31" (80 cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

Notes:
Walter Branchi introduced '5 Yuan' to Italy in 1996. This rose had been found growing in a monastery near Lijiang.
