O. R. Fitzhardinge. New Garden, New Roses.
The most decorative of decoratives is Carillon. It puts the busy bee to shame with its collection of floral sweetness. I don't know of any Rose that would give more concentrated and continual colour for a front row of a Rose bed. It is so bright that if you saw it painted or illustrated you would suspect the artist of overdoing it. It has too many flowers at the moment to allow disease, if any, to show.
