[Nichols was not happy with this rose...] Frau Karl Druschki let me down... Personally I think that Fraul Karl is going to the dogs. When I was a boy she was firm-breasted, upright, and of a dazzling purity. Of recent years she has been getting blowsy, fatigued and almost sallow. I bought her because I hoped she might have reformed. She hasn't.

... one of the most justifiably admired white roses. Pink-tinted buds open to... pure white flowers... some believe this rose is really a hybrid tea, but it is correctly classified as a hybrid perpetual... recurrent... loves dry climates. Pegging down the long shoots will encourage profuse flowering on the side stems. Pruning should be minimal.
