Origin:
Bred by Hermann Albrecht Hesse (Germany, 1909).
Class:
Hybrid Wichurana, Rambler.  
Bloom:
Light yellow, deep yellow center.  Moderate, apple, fruity, tea rose fragrance.  Small, semi-double (9-16 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, cupped-to-flat bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, upright.  
Height of 9' 10" to 11' 10" (300 to 360 cm).  Width of 10' (305 cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 4b through 9b.  Hardy.  very vigorous.  Prune after flowering is finished.  
Notes:
