Gallica / Provins.  
Bloom:
Dark purple, cherry-red center, ages to dark red .  Average diameter 2".  Medium, double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
