Bred by Francis Meilland (1912-1958) (France, before 1938).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1940 as 'Madame Couibes'.

Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Salmon-pink, apricot center, lighter edges, ages to coral-pink .  Strong fragrance.  Full (26-40 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Bushy, few or no prickles/thorns, upright.  Medium green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
