Bred by César Chambard (France, before 1935).
Introduced in France by C. Chambard in 1935 as 'Madame Berthe de Forge'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1937 as 'Madame Berthe de Forge'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Orange - coral, salmon-orange shading.  Cactus dahlia-form.  Very large, semi-double to double, borne mostly solitary, cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Few or no prickles/thorns.  Bronze-green foliage.  

Height: 2' to 28" (60 to 70cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
