Registration name: Garisenda
Origin:
Bred by Gaetano Bonfiglioli & figlio (Italy, 1911).
Introduced in Australia by H. Kemp in 1913 as 'Garisenda'.
Class:
Hybrid Wichurana, Rambler.  
Bloom:
Light pink, darker shading.  Moderate fragrance.  Large, very double, in large clusters bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Climbing.  

Height: 9'10" to 16'5" (300 to 500cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for cut flower, garden or pillar.  Very vigorous.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
"Torre Garisenda" is one of the two leaning towers in Bologna, built early 12th century.
According to a 1934 reference 'Garisenda' was probably bred by Massimiliano Lodi.
