[Extract from the rose catalogue of Marie Henriette Gräfin Chotek, October 1929]
This year I am again introducing some park roses and a climber of the old master into commerce...
Further roses from Geschwinds estate
The most splendid, conspicious item in my rosary. Only someone who has seen her in bloom can imagine the beauty and the richness of bloom which covers this gigantic bush....Tall and broad in circumference the branches (you can almost not call them canes) like a gigantic weeping rose, in storeys, hanging down in a large curve to the lawn due to the abundance of blooms.
The leathery beautiful foliage (there is a lot of setigera blood in it) serves only as background for the weight of the heavy, large, partially upright, partially hanging rosy clusters of medium size blooms. Blooms continuously and long, hardly changes colour until fading.
Website/Catalog  (1938)  Page(s) 16.

Geschwind's Schönste (Geschwind [Gräfin Chotek 29]). Park rose. Tall and spreading habit. Leathery foliage; blooms in clusters, medium size, pink, full, colour scarcely varies. Blooms continuously and long.
Book  (1936)  Page(s) 296.

Geschwind's Schönste (Multiflora) Geschwind ca. 1900; light red, medium-size, double, flat, in clusters of 10-15, floriferous, growth 8/10, climbing, 2.5m., broad. Sangerhausen
Website/Catalog  (1931)  Page(s) 5.

Ebenso gut könnte man Eisbären Jacken anziehen 2,— Mark [10] 18,— [100] 160,—

Translation:
Geschwinds Schönste The royally beautiful bush rises high in storeys and reaches far and wide, dragging its strong branches laden with flowers like a gigantic weeping rose onto the lawn. Rose-red flowers form large clusters of flowers that hardly lose their beauty of color until they fade and stand out strikingly from the most beautiful foliage. Bone hard to the fingertips. Someone here asked whether these roses had to be protected against the worst polar winters in the very coldest of Germany. You could just as well dress polar bears in jackets 2.— Mark [10] 18.— [100] 160.—
