Bred by Joseph Pernet-Ducher (France, 1895).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in before 1911 as 'Antoine Rivoire'.

Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Light pink, carmine-pink shading, carmine-pink reverse, yellow undertones.  Moderate fragrance.  Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Dense, upright.  
Height of 3' (90 cm).  Width of 3' (90 cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  
Ploidy:
Triploid
Notes:
Named after a nurseryman of Lyon, France.
