Origin:
Bred by Peter Lambert (Germany, 1911).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1912 as 'Gräfin Marie Henriette Chotek'.
Class:
Hybrid Multiflora, Rambler.  
Bloom:
Crimson.  Mild fragrance.  Very large, full (26-40 petals), in large clusters, high-centered, rounded bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Bushy, climbing, upright.  Large, glossy, dark green foliage.  
Height of 6' 7" to 9' 10" (200 to 300 cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 4b through 9b.  Can be used for pillar.  Hardy.  vigorous.
