Introduced in United Kingdom by Cants of Colchester Ltd. in 1995 as 'Köng Frederik den IX'.
Introduced in Denmark by Poulsen Roser A/S in 1998 as 'Köng Frederik den IX'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Peach and cream, pink edges.  Moderate, wild rose fragrance.  Average diameter 3.25".  Very large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, bushy, spreading.  Large, glossy, dark green foliage.  

Height: 32" to 39" (80 to 100cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower or garden.  Protect tender new spring growth from hard freezes that may cause canker, die-back and death of the plant. .  Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood..
