Origin:
Bred by Adam (France, circa 1838).
Introduced in Australia by Handasyde, McMillan & Co. in 1864 as 'Adam'.

Bloom:
Light pink, darker undertones.  Strong, sweet, tea fragrance.  Average diameter 3.25".  Medium to large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, globular, reflexed bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Glandular sepals, long sepals, long, ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Glossy, light green, wavy or ruffled foliage.  3 to 5 leaflets.  

Height: 39" to 8' (100 to 245cm).  Width: 6' (185cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be trained as a climber.
