Introduced in United States by Jackson & Perkins (Wholesale) in 2002 as 'Salsa'.
Class:
Floribunda.  
Bloom:
Dark red.  Mild fragrance.  20 petals.  Average diameter 3.5".  Medium, double (17-25 petals), cluster-flowered, in small clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Medium, bushy.  Medium, glossy, dark green foliage.  

Height: 3' (90cm).  Width: up to 3' (up to 90cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower or garden.  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.  Protect tender new spring growth from hard freezes that may cause canker, die-back and death of the plant. .  Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood..  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .  Can be grown in the ground or in a container (container requires winter protection).
