Once again, after a wet summer, this rose is showing No Blackspot, despite being planted between two other roses which are showing moderate infestations of BS.

I am very pleased with this rose after three months. I has grown into a many-branched shrub of attractive shape in just one summer. There is nearly always at least one flower in bloom and flowers are large and beautiful. Foliage is shiny and healthy, and so far is showing No Blackspot, even after warm and rainy weather.

There does not seem to be much fragrance, and I shall have to see about hardiness. I am guessing that so vigorous a rose ought to grow back rapidly after winter, with adequate protection, even if it is not cane hardy.
