Exhibition Roses. The following varieties are mostly valued by exhibitors, and when skillfully grown, may produce high-class blooms for the show tray. Taken as a whole, however, they may be considered as somewhat difficult at times, and for this reason they cannot be generally recommended for average gardens. The faults include variable colour, poor growth, weak stems, divided centres and insufficient flowering value. [a list of 47 roses follows, including] Souv. de Maria de Zayas.
