I can't recommend this rose.

It has pretty flowers that age well but other than that it's lacking in every other way. It experiences (minor) powdery mildew and (near constant, heavy) blackspot. It's better when summer temperatures here start getting unbearable but spring and autumn it's not a happy plant unless sprayed.

Available from - Swane's, via Bunnings (Hardware chain). Described on the label as "the rose that changes colour", which is pushing it - Mutabilis has been around for a long time. And others, of course.

Pretty. Nice yellow fade, bloom ages very well, just nice bloom form in general.
Does have some blackspot issues. Seems to be seed sterile (hasn't set hips for me), haven't tried it's pollen.

So after three years it decided to set it's first hip (OP) and the seeds look normal, whether they germinate or not is another question.
