An outstanding flori for Southern California rosarians. All of it's virtues are fully expressed here. The only major fault, susceptibility to blackspot, is generally not a problem here. Eureka makes a spectacular tree rose. Not a slouch on the show table either.

I got this rose for my mother-in-law for Mother's Day, 2003. She is 88 years old and no longer able to garden, but she likes flowers. This is the first rose she ever had in her flower bed and it was spectacular. It took no care, and bloomed prolifically. I am going to add at least one to my own garden this spring. Her flower bed is on the south side of her house. There are trees in the area, but apparently it got the amount of sun it needed. I saw no disease on this rose all summer and fall. Here in central PA it reached 3' wide and 3' tall. A definite winner! Jane Master

I've had this rose in my garden for about 4 years now. Every year it gets better and better. It's a prolific bloomer, it would stop traffic if it could be seen from the road. By far one of my most favorite. No disease troubles so far and tolerates the southern AZ heat extremely well. It also tolerated several days where we did not get above freezing.
