Origin:
Bred by Peter Lambert (Germany, 1891).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in before 1911 as 'Kaiserin Augusta Victoria'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea, Tea.  
Bloom:
White or white blend, yellow center. Green tints in buds.  Moderate fragrance.  100 petals.  Large, very double bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, upright.  
Height of 39" to 7' (100 to 215 cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 7b and warmer.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .
