Photo courtesy of Beth's Northern CA Rose Garden
ARS:
Orange blend Hybrid Tea. Registration name: Granada Sunset
Bloom:
Orange blend. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Growing:
USDA zone 7b and warmer. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that. Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
This rose was given to Clair Martin, Curator of Roses at The Huntington Library in San Marino, CA by someone years prior to my propagating it and sharing it with nurseries, and adding it to the Huntington Plant Sales. I did not "breed it". It caught my attention at the Huntington Gardens. I simply reproduced it and spread it around to prevent its loss. This comment is added because I haven't been able to remove the "Bred by" information.
