Introduced in Australia by C. F. Newman and Sons - Adelaide in 1894 as 'Madame Viviand Morel'.
Class:
Ayrshire.  
Bloom:
Carmine-pink, violet reverse, cherry-red highlights, red shading.  Moderate, tea fragrance.  Medium, full (26-40 petals), in small clusters bloom form.  Spring or summer flush with scattered later bloom.  
Habit:
Climbing.  

Height: up to 4'11" (up to 150cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.

Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
This is an Ayrshire hybrid or Ayrshire perpetual, a class forgotten by modern classifications.
