Origin:
Bred by Peter Lambert (Germany, 1899).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in before 1911 as 'Léonie Lamesch'.
Class:
Polyantha.  
Bloom:
Copper, yellow center.  Moderate fragrance.  Small to medium, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, rosette bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Bushy, upright.  
Height of 2' to 5' (60 to 150 cm).  Width of 3' to 4½' (90 to 135 cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Vigorous.  
Notes:
Parentage given in 1899 reads Aglaia X (Mignonette x Sh. Hibberd)
