Origin:
Bred by Lord Penzance (United Kingdom, 1894).
Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1896 as 'Lord Penzance'.

Hybrid Rubiginosa.  
Bloom:
Pink to buff, lemon-yellow shading, golden-yellow stamens.  Moderate fragrance.  Average diameter 1.5".  Medium, single (4-8 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  Leafy sepals, long sepals buds.  
Habit:
Bushy, climbing.  Small, dark green, fragrant foliage.  5 to 7 leaflets.  

Height: 7' to 8' (215 to 245cm).  Width: 6' to 8' (185 to 245cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Hardy.  very vigorous.
