Origin:
Bred by Antoine A. Jacques (France, before 1824).
Class:
China / Bengale, Hybrid China, Hybrid Noisette.  
Bloom:
Lilac - pink, pink shading.  None to mild fragrance.  Average diameter 1.25".  Small, double (17-25 petals), in large clusters, cupped bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be trained as a climber.
