'Dolly's Forever Rose' Description

Shrub. Registration name: ARDolly, Dolly's Forever Rose
Bloom:
Vermilion, yellow reverse. Mild, moss or woody, pine fragrance. 18 to 30 petals. Average diameter 2.5". Medium, single to semi-double, cluster-flowered bloom form. Spring or summer flush with scattered later bloom.
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, bushy, well-branched. Medium, glossy, dark green foliage.
Height: 30" to 4' (75 to 120cm). Width: 30" to 4' (75 to 120cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 11. Can be used for beds and borders, container rose or specimen. Heat tolerant. prefers full sun. Disease susceptibility: disease resistant. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that. Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) . Prune lightly until this rose gets established (about two years), then prune it back by about a third..

This rose was selected by a client who wished to buy the naming rights to one of my seedlings. At this time it is not publicly available, but it may become so in the future.
