Bred by Jean-Baptiste André (fils) Guillot (1827-1893) (France, 1887). Bred by Pierre Guillot (1855-1918) (France, 1887).
Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1892 as 'Madame Hoste'.

Bloom:

Yellow - white, deep yellow undertones. Moderate fragrance. Very large, double (17-25 petals), globular, scalloped bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Large buds.

Habit:

Upright.

Growing:

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
