I have 13 or so of this excellent rose as a hedge beside a pathway. As I posted last year, in my climate it throws canes 1.5 metres long and cutting it back to keep the pathway open means cutting off most of the flowers. I plan to replace these plants with a more tractable rose in winter this year (June or July 2016) and if anyone in my area (Sydney Australia) would like one or some Silver Ghost roses please message me before then.

This rose is very good indeed. Very floriferous with single flowers which are bright white, it is unfazed by shade, root competition or my unpleasantly humid summer. However I believed the claim that is was quite short and planted multiples of it where "short" was essential. Perhaps it is in other climates but my plants throw canes which are 1.5 metres long.
