Origin:
Bred by Jean Pernet (père) (France, 1890).
Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1897 as 'Marquise de Salisbury'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Dark red.  Strong fragrance.  Medium to large, semi-double to double, globular, high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Short, bushy, well-branched.  

Height: 2' to 3' (60 to 90cm).  Width: 2' to 3' (60 to 90cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
