I can understand the name ‘Red Ballerina’, (Marjorie Fair had 5 petals) but ‘Red Yesterday’ (Yesterday had 15 petals) is puzzling. Did ‘Yesterday’ ever sport?

Despite Ludwig’s 2018 wording that ‘Red Yesterday’ was a sport of ‘Yesterday’, their accompanying photo seems to be that of ‘Marjorie Fair’.

I use this rose in a mixed shrub border with rosemary, blueberries and cleyera. It hedges beautifully, repeats fast.
