Anyone know where this rose can be purchased in the United States? I have looked but am propable not looking in the right place. If you have this plant, can you please spare some cuttings?

I did that, but only 1 place located in the Netherlands is listed. I was hoping someone could tell me of a nursery here in the United States I could order from. there is just no way I can order from outside the US,

This rose is not listed on Heirloom Roses website. I had checked already. It was in my wishlist on Heirloom Roses website, and was never in stock, they deleted this rose from their website altogether. If you know of a different place besides Heirloom please direct me to them.

HMF-memberKathy Strong (http://www.helpmefind.com/gardening/l.php?l=99.100473&tab=42) wrote about this rose in her journal, as if she had it in her garden. Maybe she knows where to find it, or might share some cuttings.
Only two nurseries listed for this rose, Patricia and both of them Dutch!

The last person I got cuttings from, the first set didn't take and I had to ask them to send more. I've not had much success with getting people to send cuttings, so that's why I'm asking for volunteers.

If you can't source this one, how about going for another one that looks much the same? There must be other roses with a similar look.

I appreciate your suggestion, that I try a substitution, there are many other roses that could be chosen. I am such a particular person, and am usually dissatisfied with substitutions. I am too stubborn and set in my ways. When I set my sights on something I usually do not give up and find a way. If it is meant to be this rose will find a way to my garden. If I search never to find, it was not meant to be.

I asked them for a cutting today. To read their reply one would not think I was worthy of a reply let alone a cutting.

Maybe "c'est le ton, qui fait la musique."
I can understand that You're disappointed.... I wouldn't have posted the last comment You posted, but accepted the rejection of the request for cuttings.
Every-one is free to choose if one wants to share, or not to share cuttings.
Good luck in Your further search for this rose.

If anyone in the United States has this rose and can bear to mail cuttings, I am willing to pay for both postage and the cuttings, but I don't have a thousand roses to offer or a fancy setup to start it in. I just want to get a cutting so I can turn it into a little plant that I will love and cherish. Heirloom Roses does not have this rose for sale, and I emailed them several times.

UPDATE: Please DO NOT offer me cuttings of this rose right now. I will not be able to accept them at this time. Several neighbors have rose rosette. It is only by some miracle that I am not yet plagued with it. I have informed the neighbor but the infected roses remain, they insinuated the infected roses would not be removed. I must wait until all roses are removed, and enough time has passed to make sure my roses are not infected, before even considering bring more roses into my garden.

Sometimes I have a spot and go through several possible roses to fill the spot. Sometime I find a rose and would prefer to find a spot for that rose. I wanted to try this rose for many reasons, one being disease resistance, would it resist black spot? If you have the rose could you at least post more pics? Thanks!
