"Rosa centifolia Gerda Nissen" rose Description

Bloom:
Carmine-pink. Moderate, fruity, sweet fragrance. Medium, full (26-40 petals), cupped-to-flat bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer.
Habit:
Tall. Semi-glossy foliage. 5 leaflets. Height of up to 5' (up to 150 cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 2b through 8b. Very hardy.

Gerda Nissen describes in "Alte Rosen", an unknown red centifolia and an unknown hybrid bourbon. The rose which is listed in gardens and commerce as the Centifolia Gerda Nissen is however the hybrid bourbon.
