Bred by Henri & Giraud Pradel (père & fils) (France, 1844).
Introduced in Australia by Camden Park in 1850 as 'Vicomtesse Decazes'.
Class:
Tea.  
Bloom:
Deep yellow, light yellow shading, copper center.  Moderate fragrance.  Medium to large, full (26-40 petals), cluster-flowered, cupped-to-flat bloom form.  
Habit:
Large foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 8a through 9b.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .
