Introduced in United States by Julius Roehrs Co. in 1908 as 'Newport Fairy'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in before 1911 as 'Newport Fairy'.

Hybrid Multiflora, Hybrid Wichurana, Rambler.  
Bloom:
Rose-pink, white center, yellow stamens, ages to lighter .  Mild fragrance.  Average diameter 1.25".  Small, single (4-8 petals), cluster-flowered, in large clusters bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Climbing.  Glossy, medium green foliage.  

Height: 12' to 25' (365 to 760cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 5b through 9b.  Very vigorous.
