Bred by Paul Nabonnand (France, 1901).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in before 1911 as 'Noella Nabonnand'.

Crimson, white undertones.  Moderate fragrance.  Average diameter 6".  Very large, semi-double to double, cupped, open bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Very vigorous.

Notes:
'Noëlla Nabonnand' in commerce in United States appears to actually be sometimes the rose 'Marie Nabonnand'.

'Noëlla Nabonnand' young wood is dark red, petals are bigger and a bit more purple.
'Marie Nabonnand' young wood is light green.
