Bloom:
Dark purple. Borne mostly solitary bloom form. Mossed, rounded buds.
Habit:
Short, armed with thorns / prickles, bushy, dense, suckers on its own roots. 5 leaflets.
Height: 18" to 2' (45 to 60cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 2b through 8b. Very hardy.
