p. 28: Diploid....Papa Hemeray, heterozygous loci 74% [Provenance: Antique Rose Emporium]

p. 54: 'Papa Hemeray'..is located between the main group of China Roses and the Polyanthas and other hybrids, and shares a haplotype with the two R.multiflora accessions in this study. Based on its SSR grouping and haplotype, and its recorded introduction in 1912 after Polyantha Roses had begun to be introduced...it is quite possible that this Hybrid China Rose has some R. multiflora in its background.
