Origin:
Bred by Antoine Levet (père) (France, 1869).
Discovered by Bishop's Lodge Heritage Rose Garden (Australia).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in before 1911 as 'Paul Neyron'.
Class:
Found Rose, Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Deep pink, darker shading.  Moderate, opinions vary fragrance.  50 to 55 petals.  Average diameter 6".  Very large, very double, borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, cupped-to-flat, globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Tall, thornless (or almost), upright.  Light green foliage.  
Height of 4' to 7' (120 to 215 cm).  Width of 3' to 4' (90 to 120 cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 4b through 9b.  Can be used for cut flower or garden.  Very vigorous.  
Notes:
"Bishop's Lodge Sydney Linton" was named for the first Bishop of Riverina, Sydney Linton. It has the same sepal abnormality as 'Paul Neyron'.
