Bloom:
Salmon-pink, yellow shading.  Strong fragrance.  Medium to large, full (26-40 petals), in small clusters bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  
Habit:
Climbing.  Glossy foliage.  
Height of up to 11½' (up to 350 cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Notes:
'Paul Noël' is sometimes confused with 'Paul Transon' in commerce.
Professor Paul Noël was the Director of the Agricultural-Entomological Laboratory (Laboratoire régional d'Entomologie agricole) of the Department of Seine-Inférieure in Rouen.
'Paul Noël' was first shown in 1910, but commercialized in 1912.
