Bred by Samuel McGredy II (Ireland, 1909).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1910 as 'Mrs. Wakefield Christie-Miller'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Light pink, salmon-pink shading, vermilion reverse.  Clear vermilion rose outside and soft blush shaded salmon inside.  Strong fragrance.  Very large, full (26-40 petals), high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Upright.  Light green, leathery foliage.  
Height of 2' (60 cm).  Width of 2' (60 cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.
