Bred by Wilhelm Kordes III (1953 - 2016) (Germany, 1983).
Introduced in United States by Jackson & Perkins Co. as 'Baby Blanket'.
Introduced in Germany by W. Kordes' Söhne (Retail) in 1993 as 'Sommermorgen'.
Class:

Bloom:
Light pink, golden-yellow stamens.  Mild fragrance.  15 to 20 petals.  Average diameter 2.75".  Medium, double (17-25 petals), cluster-flowered, in large clusters, cupped-to-flat bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Small, pointed, ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Medium, bushy, compact, spreading, thornless (or almost), well-branched.  Small, glossy, dark green, leathery foliage.  5 to 7 leaflets.  

Height: 2' to 30" (60 to 75cm).  Width: 47" to 4'11" (120 to 150cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower, garden or ground cover.  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .  Can be grown in the ground or in a container (container requires winter protection).

Shrub rose plant having dark green, glossy, disease-resistant foliage; a compact spreading habit, rapid repeat blooming and attractive pink blooms in clusters... Parentage: KORweirim x KORfalt... The primary objective of this breeding was to produce a new rose variety having the vigor, health and ground covering habit of KORweirim and the larger flower and deep yellow flower color of KORfalt, along with its rapid reblooming ability. Except for the flower color, the objective was substantially achieved... flowers are borne several together in rounded to flat clusters of from 3 to as many as 15 flowers...
