unless I have the wrong peony mine are fragrant. We kept some for a wedding. and the Karl were just as fragrant as the roses we had.

It appears that it is only 3’ in high, not 6’8” to 7 ½’.

Don't understand the popularity of this cultivar. Semi-double blooms never have much form to begin with, aren't a vivid color, and quickly fade and grow blowsy. It is vigorous and floriferous--provides landscape color from afar.
