Bred by Jacques Calot (France, before 1872).
Introduced in France by François-Félix Crousse in 1873 as 'Couronne d'Or'.
Class:
Hybrid lactiflora.  
Bloom:
White, yellow undertones.  White bonnet, edged carmine-red.  Strong fragrance.  Large, very full, crown bloom form.  Late.  
Habit:
Medium.  
Height of up to 33" (up to 85 cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 2a and warmer.

Diploid
