Origin:
Discovered by Unknown in New Zealand (New Zealand, 1791).
Class:
Early Small Flowered, Evergreen, Group 2.
Bloom:
White, brown anthers.  6 to 8 petals.  Average diameter 2.75".  Medium, single, saucer-shaped bloom form.  Early-to-midspring.
Habit:

Height: 7' to 10' (215 to 305cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 7b through 9b.  Needs a warm, frost-free situation.  Plant in soil that drains well.  This plant blooms twice.  It blooms on the previous year's growth, so resist the urge to prune it in early spring.  However, if you garden in a place with cold winters, Mother Nature will more than likely prune the plant for you.  It will bloom a second time on new growth.
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).

Diploid
