Origin:
Discovered by Unknown in New Zealand (New Zealand, 1791).
Class:
Evergreen, Group 1, Species.  
Bloom:
White, yellow stamens.  Moderate, sweet fragrance.  6 to 8 petals.  Average diameter 3".  Medium, single, clusters, semi-nodding, star-shaped bloom form.  Early-to-midspring.  
Habit:
Dark foliage.  3 leaflets.  

Height: 10' to 14½' (305 to 440cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 7b through 9b.  Needs a warm, frost-free situation.  Plant in soil that drains well.  Slow to establish.  No pruning required.
