Sylvia Hannah, Meeschaum Vale, NSW. I was fortunate when, last May, I made a casual remark to a friend about a garden we passed. I remarked on it looking interesting with Banksian roses over the front gate and crammed full of old garden favourites. This led to a meeting with the owner. The garden it turns out is over sixty years old and had been the present owners aunt’s. My new found friend has an astounding memory and obviously loves her plants, remembering names and talking of roses that grew in her grandmother’s garden during her childhood....... There were also ..... and Australia Beauty.
