Origin:
Bred by Gilbert Nabonnand (1828-1903) (France, 1882).
Introduced in France by Ph. Nabonnand et ses Fils in 1887 as 'Bardou Job'.
Introduced in Australia by C. H. Halstead in 1899 as 'Bardou Job'.
Class:
Bourbon, Hybrid Tea, Tea, Tea, Cl..  
Bloom:
Scarlet, darker undertones, darker reverse.  Strong fragrance.  Large, single to semi-double, in small clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long buds.  
Habit:
Climbing, thornless (or almost), upright.  Large, dark green foliage.  

Height: up to 4'11" (up to 150cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 5b through 10b.  Can be used for beds and borders, hanging basket or hedge.
