Bred by Victor Verdier (France, 1854).

Mauve - pink, blush reverse.  Lilac-pink.  Strong fragrance.  Medium, semi-double to double, borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, globular bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Height of 4' to 7' (120 to 215 cm).  Width of up to 4' (up to 120 cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
