Bred by H.A. Terry (United States, 1905).
Introduced in United States by Peony Gardens of George Hollis in 1909 as 'General Hooker'.
Class:
Hybrid lactiflora.  
Bloom:
Crimson - pink, white stripes, silver(y) edges.  Tyrian rose.  Moderate, medicinal fragrance.  Large, double, cupped bloom form.  Midseason.  
Habit:
Medium.
