Polyantha Roses. Rosenelfe. The colour is pink like Mad. Abel Chatenay. The blooms are lasting on the plant and stand well when cut. They are borne in large clusters; 3 feet.

Rosenelfe (Hybrid polyantha) is attractive from the moment its clustered pointed buds spring into existence. The delightful miniature perfectly-formed high-centred, double, pale-pink flowers are borne in clusters with quite long individual stems. Vigour is self-evident in the erect and branching growth, clad with shining light green foliage. Kordes 1937...Slightly fragrant...June-September. Hardy.

'Rosenelfe' . Double salmon pink blooms produced on upright growth which is clothed with light green glossy foliage.
Book  (1943)  Page(s) 53.

W. G. Randell, Some Alister Clark Roses in a Perth Garden. Diana Allen may well be called dainty, so alluring is her formation. The colour reminds me of Picture. The bud on forming is that of a salmon colour, but this gradually lightens to a rose pink. In the early stages the colour may be described as a delicate flesh tint, touched with salmon pink. Diana is certainly something different, and to see her is to want her. The rosarian who has grown Rosenelfe will probably see a resemblance in Diana.

p91-13 John Poulsen, Christchurch. South Island Roses. Rosenelfe. Good growth and foliage, flowering continuously. This is one of the loveliest Roses I have ever seen and has been greatly admired by all who have seen it. Every bloom seems to come perfect. It is a gem for the florist.

p125-9. Mr. Frank Mason. The Newer Roses in New Zealand. Another Polyantha Rose that is worth a place is Rosenelfe. The buds are long and pointed and they open to a salmon pink. There are from twelve to twenty blooms on a truss, and the general effect is splendid.

Rosenelfe, of my own raising, is stealing the hearts of all rose friends. It is a Floribunda with the beauty of the hybrid tea. The clusters of 30 or more open blooms, 3 inches across, are a bicolor pink.

p52-3 Captain A. B., Watkins. Greenwich, NSW. Rambling Amongst Roses and Gardens in England and South Africa. There were quite a number of new seedlings on show, the best of which were.... Rosenelf pink Hyb. Poly;

p100-3. S. Bird. Notes from Auckland. Rosenelfe is what a double Else Poulsen may be like if there was such a thing, except the colour of the shapely flowers is not so good as that of Else Poulsen.

Rosenelfe ( Poly). (W. Kordes, 1936). The growth of this variety is upright like ‘Else Poulsen’, but not quite so tall. This long pointed bud opens slowly to a double salmon pink bloom of perfect form. The flowers are borne in small and large clusters, up to 20 blooms a truss. Light green, glossy and mildew proof foliage. 2/6 each.
A splendid healthy hybrid polyantha.,
