Discovered by Philipp Von Siebold (Netherlands, before 1844).
Introduced in Netherlands by Philipp von Siebold in 1844 as 'Reine des Belges'.
Introduced in Belgium by Établissement Horticole Joseph Baumann in 1850 as 'Reine des Belges'.
Class:
Hybrid suffruticosa.  
Bloom:
White, light pink flares, green shading.  Greenish white disk.  Large, single, bomb bloom form.
